ACT 115 - Computerized Accounting I 3 Credit(s)
Emphasizes application of computerized financial software used in business-QuickBooks and Sage. Includes setting up a company, receivables, payables, inventory control, payroll, time tracking, financial statement preparation & analysis and job estimating. This course will prepare students to become an Intuit QuickBook Certified User.
Prereqs: ACT 101 or ACT 110 with a passing grade Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Base Delivery Method: In-Person, Remote Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will demonstrate keyboard and mouse proficiency.
CLO 2) Students will access menu options.
CLO 3) Students will implement computer and disk security procedures.
CLO 4) Students will assemble financial transactions.
CLO 5) Students will select the integration procedures.
CLO 6) Students will demonstrate an understanding of computer output.
