Explore techniques, materials and methods of illustration and sequential art. Projects emphasize individual creativity and concept but also emphasize best practices for working with clients.
Prereqs: ART 1400 with a grade of C or better Course Type: Studio/Performance Tuition Tier: Base Delivery Method: In-Person, Remote, Hybrid CORE42 MOTR Number - Name: MOTR PERF 105GA - Studio Art - Graphic Arts Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will build skills and investigate avenues within the context of Illustration and Sequential Art.
CLO 2) Students will apply proficient use of the various media used for illustration with the goal of building excellent craftsmanship skills.
CLO 3) Students will identify strengths and shortcomings withing their work while offering meaningful feedback to peers while participating in the critique setting using relevant and appropriate art and design vocabulary.
CLO 4) Students will produce publication and exhibition ready works of art.
CLO 5) Students will identify and differentiate between contemporary and historical illustrative trends, artists, and artwork.
