ART 2620 - Figure Sculpture 3 Credit(s)
Introduction to basics of figure sculpture using the human figure as reference for subject matter for modeling in clay over an armature. Some other ways of constructing the figure may also be investigated.
Prereqs: ART 2600 with a grade of C or better Course Type: Studio/Performance Tuition Tier: Base Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will gain an understanding of how to depict an anatomically correct human figure in clay and/or other materials.
CLO 2) Students will learn how to portray visual likenesses in modeled clay.
CLO 3) Students will be able to build an armature upon which to model the figure.
