Preparation to meet the requirements of the CompTIA A+ certification exam. How to build, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot PCs and mobile devices.
Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: In-Person, Remote Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will identify, use, and connect hardware components and devices.
CLO 2) Students will install and support Windows operating systems, and understand MacOS, Linux, and mobile operating systems.
CLO 3) Students will explain types of networks and connections, and configure laptops and other mobile devices.
CLO 4) Students will troubleshoot device, network, PC, and mobile device issues, including application security support.
CLO 5) Students will identify and protect against security vulnerabilities for devices and their network connections.
CLO 6) Students will follow best practices for safety, environmental impacts, communication, and professionalism.
