The Plumbing, AAS prepares students for careers in the plumbing trades through a blend of classroom instruction, hands-on lab training, and real-world applications. Students gain the technical knowledge and practical skills required to install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems.
The curriculum emphasizes safety practices, blueprint reading, code compliance, and proficiency with tools and materials. Students will learn pipefitting, drainage, waste and vent (DWV) systems, water supply systems, gas piping, hydronics, and green plumbing technologies. By graduation, students will be ready for entry-level employment, apprenticeships, or advancement toward journeyman licensure.
