ART 2320 - Figure Drawing II 3 Credit(s)
Continuation of Figure Drawing I with introduction of color theory and wet-drawing media.
Prereqs: ART 2310 with a grade of C or better Course Type: Studio/Performance Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will continue to build their knowledge and apply traditional drawing techniques which include composition, space, value, and line.
CLO 2) Students will apply the use of limited color to depict their subject.
CLO 3) Students will produce drawings using a variety of traditional drawing materials such as different toned papers, graphite, charcoal and soft pastel.
CLO 4) Students will further extend their ability to describe and analyze drawings during critique sessions.
CLO 5) Students will demonstrate the ability to present artwork professionally.
CLO 6) Students will build on their knowledge of human anatomy from Figure Drawing I and further demonstrate their ability to render the human form convincingly and naturalistically.
