The HVAC/R Certificate of Achievement program is a fast-track, hands-on training pathway designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry. In just one year, students gain essential skills in system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety practices across residential and light commercial environments.
Through a combination of classroom instruction and lab-based learning, students will work with industry-standard tools and equipment while mastering the fundamentals of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, ductwork, and controls. The program emphasizes energy efficiency, environmental responsibility and code compliance and prepares students for key certifications such as EPA Section 608, NC3, and OSHA 10.
Graduates are equipped to begin careers as HVAC/R technicians, installers, or maintenance professionals and may continue into advanced training or apprenticeship programs to pursue licensure or specialization.
