BTC 170 - Spreadsheet Applications - Excel 3 Credit(s)
Presentation and application of business functions of Excel. Topics include formulas and functions, absolute/relative cell references, templates, reports, charting/graphing, formatting, and integration of Excel and MS Word.
Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: In-Person, Online Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will review math skills needed in the workplace.
CLO 2) Students will perform activities using correct skill/techniques and sequence of computations on the computer using spreadsheet software forumulas and functions.
CLO 3) Students will create and format worksheets to automate basic business tasks using the spreadsheet features.
CLO 4) Students will develop critical thinking skills in analyzing business situations using mathematical operations and logical decision-making.
