CAD 104 - Introduction to AutoCAD 3 Credit(s)
Utilization of the latest version of AutoCAD to create, edit, and store introductory computer drawings. Involves draw and modify commands, layer creation, blocks, and dimensioning. Includes orthographic views, layouts, viewports, paper/model space, scaling, and lineweights. Basic design elements and drafting standards considerations are provided.
Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: In-Person, Online Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will input and edit basic engineering geometry.
CLO 2) Students will input and edit orthographic views.
CLO 3) Students will input and edit basic dimensions.
CLO 4) Students will create, retrieve and plot basic drawings and patterns aided by menus, tablets, keyboard, mouse/raster, etc.
