Involves obtaining credit for workplace learning of computer-aided drafting practices, methods, and applications. Must have an existing or pending CAD learning employment situation before seeking approval by the CAD Program Coordinator. Course involves validation of workplace learning and a documented report of learning experiences.
Prereqs: Instructor or Department Chair permission required Course Type: Practicum Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: Remote Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will apply industry-standard computer-aided drafting (CAD) techniques and software within an architectural or engineering professional setting.
CLO 2) Students will integrate theoretical CAD knowledge with real-world applications, addressing challenges unique to professional practice.
CLO 3) Students will evaluate potential career paths in CAD through direct engagement with industry professionals and projects.
