CAD 299 - CAD Capstone 1 Credit(s)
This course emphasizes the organization of materials, planning for employment or future career advancement, and collaboration with the SCC Career Services Department. Students will develop a portfolio showcasing their coursework, including design drawings, sketches, and other drafting work. Standardized assessments related to Missouri drafting standards will also be conducted. Registration is permitted during the last semester of the Computer-Aided Drafting, AAS program.
Prereqs: Application for Graduation Course Type: Capstone Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: Remote Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will evaluate their personal strengths, academic achievements, and career interests to define and articulate a professional identity aligned with their career aspirations.
CLO 2) Students will apply effective job search strategies, including crafting compelling application materials and demonstrating professional communication and interview skills, to secure employment opportunities.
