CPT 106 - PC Operating Systems 3 Credit(s)
Introduction to the concepts of computer operating systems, including DOS, Linux and Windows 7. Covers the three types of interfaces: command line, menu, and graphical. Operating concepts of file, disk, and other resource management.
Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: In-Person, Remote Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will interact with the personal computer through MS-DOS and Windows menus and screen.
CLO 2) Students will demonstrate the ability to handle computer commands and develop proficiency in handling directory structure.
CLO 3) Students will acquire proficiency with the Windows environment.
