ETC 240 - Renewable Energy 3 Credit(s)
This course will introduce renewable energy resources and their applied technologies to the student. Students will learn the physics of energy, as well as the geology of energy. Topics covered will include solar, geothermal, tidal wave, as well as hydro-electric energy.
Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will design a renewable energy system.
CLO 2) Students will design in detail a subsystem.
CLO 3) Students will analyze system functionality and how changing components will affect the other components.
CLO 4) Students will use emulators of renewable energy systems to analyze relevant issues.
CLO 5) Students will conduct limited research to develop a project on renewable systems.
