Exploration of increasingly complex geographic concepts using computer and analytical methods to solve spatial problems. Sophisticated GIS technology used to find and explain spatial patterns. ESRI products and GPS technology used to create data and maps.
Prereqs: GEO 120 with a passing grade or instructor permission Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Base Delivery Method: In-Person, Remote, Online Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will assess the concept of pattern over space and time.
CLO 2) Students will create descriptive and useful maps using computerized cartographic techniques.
CLO 3) Students will identify global spatial problems and determine processes for their solutions.
