CLO 1) Students will describe and explain political institutions and social values that Latin Americans have built and rebuilt.
CLO 2) Students will evaluate how race, ethnicity, gender, region, and religious background have played a significant role in how Latin Americans see each other.
CLO 3) Students will explain how region, conquest and colonization, the ‘Age of Revolution’, international forces, economics, technology, and the daily lives of ordinary peoples impacted the social values and development of Latin American society.
CLO 4) Students will explain the intellectual and economic forces and power dynamics which shaped Latin American political and social behavior
