PHE 211 - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/AED ** 1 Credit(s)
Basic overview of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Covers breathing emergencies and the guidelines and techniques for performing CPR and utilizing an AED. CPR & AED certification is awarded if the student successfully passes the written exams and practical skills.
Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Base Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will demostrate the safe procedures for giving CPR and the use of an AED among an adult, child and infant.
CLO 2) Students will describe various situations that would require CPR and using an AED.
