Course Learning Outcomes:
CLO 1) Students will apply the sociological perspective to analyze everyday life situations and explain how humans function as cultural beings within society.                                                                                                             
CLO 2) Students will define socialization and explain how socialization processes and social structure influence human behavior and shape individual experiences.                                                                                   
CLO 3) Students will evaluate how social institutions contribute to social stability and instability while differentiating among various sources of social inequality.                                                                                                          
CLO 4) Students will explain deviance from a sociological perspective and its relationship to social norms and structures.
