Introductory survey of the interdisciplinary scientific study of race and ethnicity in the United States and globally. The personal, social, political, economic, cultural and historical process that shape and are shaped by race and ethnicity are explored.

Prereqs: Placement in ENG 101  or a Passing grade in ENG 096
