Includes lectures, films and discussions on the practitioners and work. Viewing live stage productions OR video recordings of productions that were performed live on stage is required.

CLO 1) Students will explain the purpose, value, and cultural context of theatre.
CLO 2) Students will identify the various contributions and responsibilities of persons involved in a theatrical production.
CLO 3) Students will recognize various types of theatrical performances and performance spaces.
