Introduction to theatre design in areas of scenery, lighting, and costume design. Exploration of fundamentals of design conception and communication through analysis, research, writing and project work.

CLO 2) Students will identify the considerations that different designers make while working on a project.
CLO 3) Students will communicate ideas through presentations, drawings, research, and writing.
CLO 4) Students will think critically about design and how it impacts the outcome of a production.
CLO 5) Students will apply critical knowledge of script analysis for design purposes.
CLO 6) Students will to demonstrate drafting ability and use of computer programs.
