This course is designed to cover the structural organization of the human body including cells, tissues, and microscopic and gross anatomy of the following organ systems: nervous, skeletal, muscular, endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, lymphatic, digestive, urinary, and reproductive. This course is primarily intended for Nursing and Allied Health Majors.

Prereqs: Placement into BIO 260 or BIO 110 or higher with a grade of C or better

Course Learning Outcomes:
CLO 1) Students will apply the principle of complementarity of structure and function to various structures in the human body, including cells, tissues, and organs and through hierarchical levels of organization.
CLO 2) Students will use anatomical terminology to describe the microscopic and gross anatomy of the organs of the following organ systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive.
CLO 3) Students will apply concepts of human anatomy to clinical situations including injury, aging, or disease.
