CDL 101 - Entry Level Driver Training

This course provides necessary requirements to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administrations ruling that all new drivers wanting to obtain a commercial drivers license must go through a qualified training provider that is listed with the training provider registry. This course is theory based and covers the needed information for ELDT (entry level driver training).

CLO 1) Students will explain the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s ruling and its implications for new commercial drivers.

CLO 2) Students will identify the necessary requirements and qualifications for training providers listed in the Training Provider Registry.

CLO 3) Students will apply the theoretical knowledge gained in the course to meet the Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) standards.
