MFG 100 - Tools of Industry ** 2 Credit(s)
Students will study, use, and maintain tools related to mechanical trades including torches, digital and mechanical gauges, vacuum pumps, threading and pressing equipment, and a wide range of hand tools. Students are eligible to test for an NC3 Hand Tool Recognition Credential. Students who successfully complete the exam will be awarded the credential.

CLO 2) Students will explain safety protocols and regulatory standards associated with tool usage in industrial settings.
CLO 3) Students will demonstrate proper handling, maintenance, and storage of a wide range of tools and equipment.
CLO 4) Students will select appropriate tools for specific tasks based on material, scale, and project requirements.
