This course prepares students to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and services in alignment with CompTIA Cloud+ certification objectives. Emphasizing vendor-neutral, platform-agnostic skills, students will explore cloud architecture, security, automation, resource management, and disaster recovery. Students will build practical expertise in configuring cloud environments, optimizing performance, and resolving operational issues-equipping them for diverse roles in today’s cloud-driven IT landscape.

Course Learning Outcomes:
CLO 1) Students will describe the principles of cloud architecture, including virtualization, storage, networking, and security, as they relate to cloud infrastructure design.

CLO 2) Students will configure cloud environments using industry-relevant tools to deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based resources across multiple platforms.

CLO 3) Students will analyze performance metrics and system logs to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in cloud environments.

CLO 4) Students will apply automation techniques and resource management strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability in cloud operations.

CLO 5) Students will assess cloud security risks and implement appropriate controls to ensure data protection, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.

CLO 6) Students will build technical proficiency through project-based assignments and real-world cloud infrastructure scenarios.
