IT 158 - CCNA3 (Enterprise Networking, Security, Automation) ** 3 Credit(s)
This course is the third and final course in a three-course Cisco Networking Academy sequence designed to prepare students for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Students expand their understanding of networking fundamentals while focusing on advanced router and switch configuration. The course emphasizes network optimization, security, and troubleshooting in more complex enterprise network environments, preparing students to apply their skills in real-world networking scenarios and to sit for the CCNA certification exam.
Prereqs: IT 157 Course Type: Combo Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will analyze single-area OSPF.
CLO 2) Students will evaluate access control lists.
CLO 3) Students will troubleshoot network address translation (NAT).
CLO 4) Students will apply virtual private network (VPN) and IPsec concepts.
CLO 5) Students will design network infrastructure, including virtualization, automation, and security.
CLO 6) Students will analyze wide area network (WAN) concepts.
