This course focuses on the principles and practices of securing enterprise networks and information assets. Students learn how to defend network devices, local area networks, workstations, servers, and other critical resources against common threats. The course emphasizes the implementation of firewall technologies, deployment of intrusion prevention systems, and the application of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) to protect data in transit. Students also explore cryptographic systems and their role in ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and authentication within modern enterprise environments.
