This course supports non-native speakers, multilingual students, and international students in navigating general education and core degree requirements. Through regular meetings with specialized instructors, tutors, and academic coaches, students will strengthen both content-area and organizational skills and learn to use college resources effectively to address language-related challenges and adjust to the U.S. college system.
Course Type: Lab Tuition Tier: Base Delivery Method: In-Person, Remote Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will attend scheduled sessions with academic coaches, tutors, and resource staff to improve skills required for success in general education and program-specific courses, with progress tracked through attendance and skill-development benchmarks.
CLO 2) Students will complete a pre-course needs assessment and a post-course progress assessment, with results compared to measure growth in identified skill areas.
