Utilization of most recent version of Revit software to design a three story commercial project. Understanding of practices for commercial models, view, dimensions, families, and editing. Learning of landscaping, curbing, parking, and walkway design. 3D design incorporation of foundation setting, beams, and footings. Creating of custom stairs and railings. Comprehension of intermediate level BIM practices.
Prereqs: CAD 107 with a passing grade Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: In-Person, Remote, Flex Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will develop project phases, create schedules, and enter keynotes/legends.
CLO 2) Students will link Revit files effectively.
CLO 3) Students will manage the import and export of files, including exporting for energy analysis.
CLO 4) Students will design multiple-slope floors, roofs, and slabs.
CLO 5) Students will construct curtain walls.
CLO 6) Students will utilize site design, structural design, and advanced viewing tools.
