CPT 281 - Data Structures 3 Credit(s)
This course provides students with the opportunity to master advanced programming techniques and gain a foundational understanding of data structures. Students will learn to identify and choose appropriate data structures for specific problems, ensuring they grasp the efficient use of algorithms associated with these structures. They will also implement these concepts and create graphical interfaces to illustrate key theories related to data structures.
Prereqs: CPT 182 , CPT 185 , or CPT 189 Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: In-Person, Remote Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will identify different data structures techniques.
CLO 2) Students will select the proper data structure based on the problem presented.
CLO 3) Students will demonstrate an understanding of programming data structures and selecting the proper technique for the problem presented.
CLO 4) Students will create graphical interfaces to demonstrate different data structure theory.
CLO 5) Students will demonstrate an understanding of the use of algorithms with data structures.
