CPT 182 - C++ Programming 3 Credit(s)
This course provides a foundational understanding of programming with the C++ language and its associated compilers. Students will learn to write complete programs, solve basic algorithm problems, and apply object-oriented programming techniques. Additionally, they will practice implementing small systems professionally by understanding the system’s technical requirements, designing its structure, and writing the code.
Prereqs: CPT 135 , MAT 180 , or CPT 165 Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: In-Person, Remote Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will write a program using the C++ programming language.
CLO 2) Students will implement small systems by professionally understanding the system technical requirements, designing the system structure, and coding using C++.
CLO 3) Students will solve basic algorithm problems using C++.
CLO 4) Students will use object-oriented programming to write C++ programs.
CLO 5) Students will build a solid programming foundation for future advanced CS/IT courses.
