CPT 161 - Animation & Game Programming with Unity 3 Credit(s)
The course examines the proper steps in the creation of animation and game design. It covers the history of gaming, game genre, story and character development, and game management. Students will also use Unity to create simple games.
Prereqs: CPT 135 Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: In-Person, Flex Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will demonstrate an understanding of gaming history by scoring 75% or greater on quizzes.
CLO 2) Students will identify game genre and goals by scoring 75% or greater on quizzes.
CLO 3) Students will create proper documentation to outline game design and story line.
CLO 4) Students will identify and perform proper steps in character design and development during game development.
CLO 5) Students will create various error free games using GameMaker as assigned.
