CPT 200 - System Analysis & Design Capstone 3 Credit(s)
Orientation to the development of computer-based man-machine information systems. Study of system life cycles, development of logical systems specification, data collection techniques, human factors design and standards for documentation.
Prereqs: CPT 135 & at least 30 CH in major. Course Type: Capstone Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: In-Person, Remote Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will define an information system and describe its components.
CLO 2) Students will use profiles and models to understand business functions and operations.
CLO 3) Students will identify various types of information systems and who uses them.
CLO 4) Students will describe the system development life cycle.
CLO 5) Students will explain system development tools, include modeling, prototyping, and CASE tools.
