EXS 200 - Muscular Fitness Assessment & Program Design 2 Credit(s)
This course will focus on the principles of muscular fitness which will include evaluation of movement patterns, selection and interpretation of assessment techniques, and utilize evidence-based program design for healthy and special populations.
Prereqs: EXS 110 Course Type: Combo Tuition Tier: Base Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will demonstrate industry-accepted practices and standards for optimizing a safe training environment.
CLO 2) Students will modify instruction of assessments to clients’ needs and goals to ensure safety.
CLO 3) Students will demonstrate training technique fundamental to improving muscular fitness.
CLO 4) Students will utilize goals, pertinent health history, and assessment results to design evidence-based muscular fitness programs for various clients.
