EXS 205 - Flexibility & Balance Assessment Program Design 2 Credit(s)
The course will use the principles of flexibility and balance including evaluation of movement patterns, selection and interpretation of assessment techniques and evidence-based program design for healthy and special populations.
Prereqs: EXS 110 Course Type: Combo Tuition Tier: Base Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will demonstrate industry-accepted practices and standards for optimizing a safe training environment.
CLO 2) Students will employ various evidence-based flexibility, functional movement, and balance for evaluating, assessing, and interpreting flexibility and balance.
CLO 3) Students will identify special populations and environments that may require modifications for assessment and program design of flexibility and balance training.
CLO 4) Students will recognize client goals, pertinent health history and assessment results for the development of a flexibility and/or balance program for apparently healthy clients.
