Students plan, administer, and evaluate nursing care to patients in the simulation setting.
Prereqs: Admission into LPN to ADN Bridge Program, BIO 260 , BIO 260L , BIO 261 & BIO 261L Co-reqs: NUR 102 & NUR 112 Course Type: Clinical Tuition Tier: Tier III Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will participate in interdisciplinary patient care.
CLO 2) Students will perform interventions safely in the clinical setting.
CLO 3) Students will apply the Clinical Judgment Measurement Model in the clinical setting to low acuity patient needs.
CLO 4) Students will utilize informatics and technology to provide and document patient care and health care management.
CLO 5) Students will demonstrate therapeutic communication and cultural considerations in providing holistic care.
CLO 6) Students will perform professionally within ethical and legal guidelines in the clinical setting.
