CPT 250 - Backend Web Development

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to full-stack web development, equipping students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to build dynamic, database-driven web applications.

Prereqs: CPT 135  and CPT 181

Course Learning Outcomes:
CLO 1) Students will install, configure, secure, and administer one or more front-end/back-end development environment(s).
CLO 2) Students will identify server-side vs. client-side programs for web and database applications.
CLO 3) Students will study the basics of server-side programming.
CLO 4) Students will develop the basics of database management and usage.
CLO 5) Students will create dynamic web applications using a combination of modern tools.
CLO 6) Students will employ best practices for designing, developing, testing, and securing database-driven web applications.
