CPT 210 - Analytical Tools & Methods 3 Credit(s)
Focus is on the advanced statistical and analytic tools for use in decision-making. Included, an overview of data mining, unsupervised machine learning techniques, analysis of semi-structured and unstructured data, and text analytics. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze complex data with modern analytical tools and methods.
Prereqs: CPT 135 and CPT 181 Course Type: Lecture Tuition Tier: Tier I Delivery Method: In-Person, Flex Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will analyze complex data, including semi-structured and unstructured data, using advanced statistical and analytical tools.
CLO 2) Students will apply data mining and unsupervised machine learning techniques to decision-making processes.
CLO 3) Students will evaluate text analytics methods to extract meaningful insights from unstructured data.
CLO 4) Students will demonstrate proficiency in using modern analytical tools and methods for data analysis.
