Intermediate level piano class for music majors who possess a knowledge of all basic rudiments.
Prereqs: MUS 132 , MUS 134 , & MUS 120 with a “C” or better or Piano Skills Exam Co-reqs: MUS 281 & MUS 283 Course Type: Studio/Performance Tuition Tier: Base Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will perform major and minor scales and arpeggios two octaves hands together, and demonstrate fluency with tonic and dominant chord progressions in multiple keys.
CLO 2) Students will interpret late intermediate repertoire by harmonizing with primary and secondary chords, and strengthen sight-reading through more complex rhythmic and melodic patterns.
