NUR 126 - Advanced Professional Nursing the Lifespan I Clinical 0 Credit(s)
Builds on knowledge gained in NUR 122 . Students plan, administer, and evaluate nursing care to patients in medical-surgical and mental health units in area hospitals/healthcare facilities and in the simulation setting.
Prereqs: NUR 102 Co-reqs: NUR 106 & NUR 116 Course Type: Clinical Tuition Tier: Tier III Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will participate in interdisciplinary patient care.
CLO 2) Students will perform interventions safely in the clinical setting.
CLO 3) Students will apply the Clinical Judgment Measurement Model in the clinical setting to low acuity patient needs.
CLO 4) Students will utilize informatics and technology to provide and document patient care and health care management.
CLO 5) Students will demonstrate therapeutic communication and cultural considerations in providing holistic care to diverse populations.
CLO 6) Students will perform professionally within ethical and legal guidelines in the clinical setting.
