Course Learning Outcomes:
CLO 1) Students will explain relevent computer systems, electronic medical records, and protected health information security practices.

CLO 2) Students will apply electrical safety and electrosurgical unit operations by demonstrating technical skills identifying electrical flow principles.

CLO 3) Students will compare laser technologies by discussing biophysical properties, applications, safety considerations, and specific surgical uses.

CLO 4) Students will describe minimally invasive surgical systems including components, applications, advantages, and associated risks.
