NUR 275 - Advanced Professional Nursing Across the Lifespan II Clinical 0 Credit(s)
Builds on knowledge gained in NUR 126 . Students plan, administer, and evaluate nursing care to patients in pediatric, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery units in area hospitals/healthcare facilities and in the simulation setting.
Prereqs: NUR 106 Co-reqs: NUR 255 & NUR 265 Course Type: Clinical Tuition Tier: Tier III Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will participate in interdisciplinary patient care.
CLO 2) Students will perform interventions safely in the clinical setting.
CLO 3) Students will apply the Clinical Judgment Measurement Model in the clinical setting to medium acuity patient needs.
CLO 4) Students will perform professionally within ethical and legal guidelines in the clinical setting.
CLO 5) Students will demonstrate therapeutic communication and cultural considerations in providing holistic care to patients, families, and diverse populations.
CLO 6) Students will utilize informatics and technology to enhance patient care and health care management.
